Our Woodville Warriors got super creative today for Anything But a Backpack Day as part of Red Ribbon Week! From laundry baskets and wagons to coolers and strollers -- our students showed off their imagination and Warrior pride in the most fun ways possible! 🎨💪

​"Today, our TK-3rd grade students had their field trip to Rosa Brothers Milk Company as part of the ELOP Non Instructional Days!

Our students enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to a local dairy farm! During the visit, they learned how cows are cared for, what they eat, and how milk is collected and processed for everyday use. Students toured the barns, met calves in the nursery, and watched the milking process up close. They discovered how farmers use science and technology to keep animals healthy and produce safe, nutritious dairy products. The tour connected classroom lessons in science, nutrition, and environmental care to real-life farming practices—and the highlight for many was sampling fresh milk made right on the farm!

" Our 4th–8th grade ELOP students had an amazing opportunity to visit the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB)!

The campus tour was led by Gabe Luna, a proud Woodville Elementary alumnus, UCSB graduate, and current doctoral student at the University of Southern California (USC).

Gabe shared his inspiring journey from Woodville to UCSB and beyond, giving students valuable insight into college life and higher education. Our students were actively engaged, asking thoughtful questions and connecting deeply with Gabe’s story.
